Silly Subplots If you didn't catch Grey's Anatomy last week, let me bring you up to speed on a fascinating subplot. After a patient develops a blood toxicity, an herbal supplement is found in her purse. And if you can't guess where this is going, then forget about moving to Hollywood to become a television writer. The doctor's analysis: The herbal produced the toxicity when it was combined with the CHEMOTHERAPY the patient was taking. Riiiiight. Combine an herbal treatment with a poison therapy and the herb is to blame for blood toxicity. The lesson: Don't mix herbal remedies with silly subplots. |
