Is blue a natural color for applesauce? Not on this planet. But on a recent visit to the grocery store I came across a package of bright blue applesauce - a new "Scooby Doo Blue" product from Mott's - targeted toward the young consumer, obviously. The packaging claims that this very special applesauce has 25 percent less sugar. Well of course it has less sugar. They had to take SOMETHING out of it to get all that food coloring in there! |
